With all the various types of food on offer today do you long for a great traditional restaurant serving a variety of home cooked food. Well, just a short ride out of Rugby is the village of Withybrook where you will be delighted by the traditional food they offer. There is everything from Venison and Pheasant to Roast Beef and Scottish Smoked Salmon.

This beautiful village just outside Rugby will give you a nostalgic traditional food extravaganza when you visit The Pheasant. Located beside the brook from which the village gets its name you will enjoy pleasant views, great traditional food and excellent service.

Withybrook was originally known as Willowbrook - taking its name form the large number of Willow trees along the brookside. These in turn produced withes - used for thatching etc - and in time, the village name was shortened to Withybrook.
Withybrook is located approximately seven miles from Coventry and occupies the upper part of the valley of a tributary of the Sowe and the eastern boundary of the Parish is the old Roman road the Fosse Way.
The Parish itself consists of the village of Withybrook and the hamlet of Hopsford - traces of the former larger settlement on the site can still be found.
The Pheasant (formerly known as the Half Moon) is beside the brook from which the village derives its name.
The present hosts bought The Pheasant in December 1981 and sincerely hope that you will enjoy the friendly atmosphere and excellent food, which is their pleasure to ensure for their customers.
